There are so many beautiful landscape that feature our city, Hong Kong in the internet. What-if there is something different to showcase Hong Kong from photography merging with installation.

Hong Kong is so famous about it's scenery, ranking the 3 most beautiful night scenery in the world. When everyone are looking at these congested buildings with light up, showing a busy well developed atmosphere to people. It is a challenge to give people the different view of Hong Kong.

 

The project will focus on taking photographs in the midnight while all building lights were off, everything are claim and silent. People will see the other perspective of the city and rethink of how this little place make our lives. Hong Kong people is used to the extreme fast pace in lives, the lighted off scenery gives a chance to the audience to stay claim and explore the silent beauty.

Photographs will transform into the installation work with daily sound recorded from the city such as the MTR announcement, traffic noise and people talking. The silent photograph and noisy sound create a contrast and mood towards the audience.
